Out-of-Network/Superbill
I am considered out-of-network* for some payers listed above, so clients must pre-pay for the service(s). I will provide a “superbill” to clients reflecting payment at the private pay rate for submission to an insurance company for reimbursement. The “superbill” contains all necessary diagnosis and treatment codes required by insurance companies. Chi Q Wellness, LLC does not bill insurance companies for out-of-network claims.
Cancellation policy
Clients needing to reschedule and/or cancel their session must do so 48 hrs before their session. If not, clients are required to pay for a session fee of $125 (lowest billable hour) which is not reimbursed by insurance companies.
Telepsychiatry
Video Conferencing Guidelines
Use Wi-Fi or a wired high speed internet connection whenever possible. Avoid using cellular data for your appointment.
Stay in one place during the appointment. Moving around can disrupt the connection.
Arrange to be in a quiet, private space, like an office or bedroom during your appointment. You don’t want your private information broadcast for others to hear, and noisy, disruptive locations will prevent you from getting the most from your appointment.
You must still be in Maryland during your telepsychiatry session.
I do NOT conduct any out-of-state or sessions. It is illegal for any practitioner of Chi Q Wellness, LLC to conduct any appointments while the client is out-of-state of Maryland.
